This was one of those days.
I found out that my best friend has cancer.
I am shocked. It is highly treatable (dare I say curable), but still it was completely unexpected.
I have dealt with cancer in several people close to me in the recent years. The shock and numbness that comes with hearing of the diagnosis never fades.

Wow. I can't even imagine how your friend must feel. Highly treatable, yes, but a shock, nonetheless. Wow.
ReplyDeleteHoly heck. I am sorry. Cancer has touched our family for the 2nd time this decade also and it sucks ass big time. Sorry for the language, but it is appropriate...
